Day 1 – Welcome at the airport and transfer to Negombo

A warm welcome to Sri Lanka. Our tourist chauffeur will meet the tourist at the Bandaranayake International Airport and transfer to Negombo. Negombo is a perfect destination for you to take a short break before you proceed to your next destination. You can enjoy Negombo city tour in the evening and relax yourself on your first day in Sri Lanka with the beach atmosphere and the street food along the streets in Negombo city. Day 2 – Negombo-Kegalle-Dambulla-Sigiriya

Breakfast from the hotel thereafter transfer to Millennium Elephant foundation in Kegalle. You can enjoy with elephant bathing, feeding &shower, elephant guided museum tour, walk alongside of your elephant with lunch. This is a unique experience to spend your time with elephants in Sri Lanka. After lunch from the millennium elephant foundation you will transfer to the main attraction in Dambulla. Dambulla rock cave temple is the largest best-preserved temple in Sri Lanka. you can visit to five picturesque caves dated back to 1st century BC with Buddha statues & paintings. Also, you will see some Hindu statues dated back to 12th century AD. Day 03 – Sigiriya-Pidurangala-Minneriya-Polonnaruwa

Breakfast from the hotel thereafter transfer to Sigiriya at 7.00am to watch picturesque view of the sun rise. This marvellous creation named as the 8th wonder of the world because of its majestic architecture. Also, Sigiriya nominated as the largest and the sophisticated single project in ancient Sri Lanka. in the reign of king Kassapa this massive rock converted to a citadel for him and his harem. This giant rock is 600 feet high and you can see water fountains, ponds, pavilions and garden terrace, mirror wall with graffities & frescos, lion’s paw platform, cobra hood cave and limestone staircases. After the death of king Kassapa this palace was abandoned and converted this into a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century. Irrigation system and the architecture of Sigiriya become the major reason to become this as 8th wonder of the world and must visit place at least once in your lifetime. After your visit in Sigiriya you will proceed to Pidurangala Rock Temple which was construct by king Kassapa. In the afternoon (02.00 Pm) you will proceed to Minneriya National Park which famous as the largest wild elephants’ gathering point in Sri Lanka. You can enjoy a safari ride while exploring the unique wild life of Sri Lanka. Day 04 – Polonnaruwa-Mahiyanganaya

Breakfast from the hotel thereafter transfer to Polonnaruwa Heritage Site. From 11th to 13th century Polonnaruwa become the glorious & prestigious capital of Sri Lanka. Polonnaruwa is a UNESCO world heritage site and you can see best preserved religious and cultural monuments & shrines. Polonnaruwa represents the shrines and the monuments which has the blend of south Indian Hindu culture and the Buddhism. So Hindu & Buddhist devotees coming to Polonnaruwa to offer their great respect to their shrines. To gain knowledge about the history, heritage, culture and the architecture visit to Polonnaruwa Museum. Before begin the tour, you will purchase entrance ticket and refer information about the site from tourist information center at Polonnaruwa. (Exploring the Polonnaruwa heritage site by bicycle) In the Afternoon (01.00 Pm) you will proceed to Mahiyanganaya. You can proceed to Mahiyanganaya temple as your wish to go there. Day 05 – Mahiyanganaya – Kandy

After proceed breakfast from the hotel you will transfer to explore Rathna Ella waterfall with village experience. After you finished your excursion and activity you will proceed to Kandy the sacred city. Kandy is the most sacred city & the UNESCO world heritage site in Sri Lanka. you can see majestic shrines and monuments such as sacred temple of the tooth relic & the palace complex. You can view the beauty of the Kandy city from the upper lake view point. The climate and the beauty of the Kandy city gives you a vibrant atmosphere. Also, you can buy native Sri Lankan products such as wood carvings which not much expensive, masks, rare paintings, gems & jewellery, stone carvings, batiks. In the city tour you can explore whole Kandy city with a leisure time for shopping. Evening you can participate to grab a unique experience about the Sri Lankan culture through the cultural show(optional). In July & August most of tourists from around the world are planning their holiday in Kandy to witness the most splendid festival the Esala perahera event. Kandy also known as the cultural capital of Sri Lanka because of the vibrant cultural aspects. Day 06 – Kandy-Ramboda-Nanuoya-Haputhale

Breakfast from the hotel thereafter transfer to Nanu Oya at 8 am. You will proceed to eye catching Ramboda waterfall. After that you will transfer to tea factory to taste the pure Ceylon tea and for the tea factory visit. In the afternoon 2.30pm you will proceed to Haputhale via train ride. You can explore the beauty of nature enriched with eye catching flora & fauna in the picturesque misty hills. Overnight stay in hotel at Haputale. Day 07 – Haputhale – Lipton’s seat – Diyaluma Fall – colombo

Day 08 – Colombo

Breakfast from the hotel. Around 11.00 Am you will participate for cookery demonstration in Colombo. You will learn how the Sri Lanka foods become tasty with adding various spices. In the evening (06.00 Pm) enjoy night cycling tour in Colombo. Colombo is the rapid-developing economic city and the modern cultured city in the island. You can see various modern infrastructures and facilities in the Colombo. Colombo is the must visit place when you are in Sri Lanka. Grab a tuk tuk ride and explore Galle face, clock tower, Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple, Old parliament, Nelum tower, port city which is in under construction & the buildings architecture with the blend of Dutch, Portuguese & moor over 6oo years dated back on your city tour.
